The overall goal is to strengthen the capacity for the implementation of energy efficiency measures and raise awareness by showing the benefits of improving energy efficiency in public buildings across the Canton. The aim was to demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility as well as numerous economic, environmental / ecological and social benefits of investment in the field of energy efficiency in main health centres within Canton Sarajevo. The implementation of the proposed measures would significantly reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere which would represent a significant contribution to environmental protection projects in the area.
